Where Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama Meet

Emilie's boyfriend, Mason, and his mother, Norma, invited Emilie and me to spend a few days with them at a vacation home that they have the privilege of using from time to time. It was a great opportunity to get to know both Mason and his mother. The vacation home is a beautiful house on the Tennessee River; and I mean right ON the Tennessee River. When we stood on the deck, we looked down into the river. The point where the states of Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee meet in the middle of the river directly off of the property of the house. That was a pretty neat location! And the vistas were gorgeous: on the deck we had at least a 180 degree view of the river, and lush landscaping adorn the 300+ degree waterfront lot! We had a grand time just taking it easy, swimming in the Tennessee River, eating what we wanted, and playing some pretty competitive games of Cranium and Charilie Brown Uno. The mommas, of course, graciously commanded the wins!
